Curriculum Vitae

I am currently a PhD student at Oxford Brookes University as well as being the Founder and Director of the Pan Verus Project. In addition to this I also enjoy helping science-centric organisations and projects reach their fullest potential online through consulting, website design, volunteer training, brand guideline creation, and social media management.

Science Communication

Helping individuals, projects, and organisations reach their online potential is one of my passions. I have written guides specifically for ecologists on an array of online media skills. From creating the perfect personal website to increasing your Instagram engagement, I can help you do it all.

Research

I am passionate about understanding how humans can best co-exist with our wild neighbours, especially when it comes to preserving some of the world’s most threatened ecosystems. Alongside my PhD research focused on understanding people’s perceptions of zoonosis, I am also conducting a mammalian species assemblage in the Outamba Kilimi National Park.

Animal Care

I have worked in AZA accredited zoos and USDA accredited sanctuaries as an animal caregiver, animal trainer, and education and outreach specialist. Due to the nature of my work in Sierra Leone I also have experience with infant primate care, when my assistance has been requested by the Government of Sierra Leone.
